Refund Policy

At Semicolon, we are committed to providing excellent services and customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines our policy regarding cancellations and the provision of services.

  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

a. Service Requests: Customers can cancel a service request as long as they have not made the payment yet. Cancelling a service request before payment does not entail any financial obligation or fines.

b. Refunds for Services Not Initiated: If a customer has made a payment for a service but the service has not been initiated and we have not yet entered the first working day, the customer can request a refund. Refunds will be processed within 15 business days upon receiving the refund request.

c. Refund Process and Mode: Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment used for the transaction. If the original payment method is no longer available, alternative arrangements will be made in consultation with the customer.

  1. Service Delivery

a. Service Payments: Once a customer has made a payment for a service, the service will be provided as agreed upon in the specific contract associated with that service. Each service has its own contract, containing terms and conditions that govern the provision of that particular service.

b. Priority of Contract Terms: In the event of any discrepancies or conflicts between the terms outlined in this Refund Policy and the terms specified in the service contract, the terms of the service contract will take precedence and govern the delivery of the service.

c. Partial Payments: If a customer has made a partial payment for a service and requests to cancel, the customer will receive the service to the extent they have paid for it. The remaining portion of the service will not be delivered.

  1. Non-Refundable Services

a. Completed Services: Once a service has been delivered or completed, it is non-refundable. We will make every effort to ensure the satisfactory completion of the service according to the agreed-upon terms specified in the service contract.

 

Please note that the refund policy for Semicolon Academy courses is separate from the general refund policy mentioned above. The following refund policy applies specifically to the Semicolon Academy courses:

  1. Cancellation of Enrollment Request:

If a customer has submitted an enrollment request for a course but has not made any payment yet, they can cancel the enrollment request by contacting us via email. Upon receiving the cancellation request, we will promptly cancel the enrollment request.

  1. Refunds for Paid Courses:

a. Course Reservation: Once a customer has paid for a course and received an invoice via email, their payment serves as a reservation for a seat in the course. If the customer decides not to join the course, they can request a refund.

b. Refund Amount: In the case of a refund request for a paid course, we will refund 30% of the amount paid by the customer. Alternatively, the customer has the option to reschedule the course to another available date, free of charge.

c. Refund Process: Refunds for paid courses will be processed within 15 business hours upon receiving the refund request. The refund will be credited to the original mode of payment used for the transaction.

  1. Non-Attendance of Course:

If a customer is unable to attend the course due to any reasons directly related to the company (such as postponement or cancellation of the course), they are eligible to request a full refund.

Refund Process: Refunds for non-attendance of a course will be processed within 15 business hours upon receiving the refund request. The refund will be credited to the original mode of payment used for the transaction.

We would like to inform our customers that services and courses provided by Semicolon cannot be replaced or exchanged for other services or courses.
